Behind-the-scenes update on all the happenings at DBL, plus an update from DBL Program Puppy Rocky
June 2024 Pack

Dear Friend,

Our From Shelter to Service Dog Program in partnership with Operation Kindness is thriving, thanks to the continued support from you and your fellow Pack Members. Our trainers are still bringing new dogs into the program, ensuring a steady stream of well-trained Service Dogs ready to assist the deserving individuals on our wait list.

Meet Truffles and Migo, two of our newest Service Dogs in training. Migo is 2 years old, and is the perfect mix of brains and playfulness. His intelligence and spirited nature make him an excellent candidate for service work. On the other hand, Truffles, an adorable 2 year old terrier mix, exhibits a strong love for learning. Her enthusiasm and quick adaptation to training highlight her potential to be a reliable and loving service dog.

New shelter dogs

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks for your continued support as we work to expand our From Shelter to Service Dog Program. Your generosity enables us to rescue, train, and place these remarkable dogs with individuals who will greatly benefit from their companionship and assistance. Together, we are making a significant difference in the lives of both the dogs we save and the people they are trained to serve.

Sincerely,

Bryan Williams

ROCKY'S UPDATE

RockyPack June 24

It's time for a pup-date from Rocky!

Rocky has been getting out in public often with Puppy Raiser Jenna and her family. While an outings, he is working hard on his sit-stays and polite greetings. He's also excelling in puppy class!

Fun story, summer edition: "Rocky got to go to the beach! He had so much fun splashing in the waves and running in the sand. At one point I was sitting in the sand and he came up for pets. His breath was so terrible I almost gagged. I was immediately concerned and took a good look around. Turns out he'd found a dead starfish to munch on while I wasn't looking. 🤮 He may be awesome but he's still a puppy! I included a beach shot and a few pictures of him practicing his stays at the park." said Jenna.

Check back next month for more from Rocky!
